Hostel
Hostel is an integral part of the college. Students coming from distant parts of the district as well as from outside the district can find accommodation in the College Hostel, located inside the campus at a cheap rate. It is completely safe and secure with three full time Hostel employees and other staff to take care of the boarders.
Located in the lush green area of the vast College Campus, the College provides Hostel facility for the girl students of both the College and Kanyasree University with an ambience of comfortable stay that helps students to pursue their academic career undisturbed. To get accustomed with the hostel premises, students are provided healthy meal at regular intervals, medical check-up and all other facilities. Hostel authority is also mindful for the security of the students with the engagement of 24x7 guard facility. The Hostel, at present, accommodates 30 students on an equal basis from both the institutions. A subcommittee is entrusted with the responsibility of extending all the facilities to the boarders involving them in the various cultural activities and outreach programmes to inculcate in them a feeling of belongingness and a sense of responsibility to take care of the other boarders as well. They are made to feel that they are very much a part of the entire KWC family. The Hostel is supervised by support staff assigned by the College, including Matron, two full-time Helpers/Non-teaching staff, Security, Cooks and other employees. To ensure the security of the boarders, CC Cameras have been installed. At the time of admission to the College Hostel, the boarders will be aware about the rules and regulations of the Hostel, the seat rent, messing charges and all other related issues. The College is committed to extend all sorts of assistance despite its limited resources for the academic growth of the students who have to stay away from home for the purpose and thereby making their stay in the Hostel safe and secure, and filling them with a sense of homeliness.
